Cute story....
I was 18 and decided I was going to make Escargot. I bought the snails and brought them home in a brown paper bag. I left them in the kitchen and headed to my girlfriend's home.
A couple of hours later I got a phone call from Mom. It seems the snails escaped and were trailing all over the kitchen...we were still finding strays weeks later, LOL. I used canned snails instead of fresh after that, LOL

LOL Funny story, Ron! I can only eat them when they are done! My husband and a friend used to cook them and I was only involved when the beer time came...
