    Default dark spots

    Hi,
Could someone please tell me what the dark indented spots toward the ends of my Yam. Queen Adelia 'Kiilani' leaves are? These dark areas have affected 3 leaves. I just noticed them this morn., so I don't know how long it has taken them to develop. I'm surprised at myself that I have overlooked them in the past because I do a daily check on all of my orchids. ??

I would appreciate any help and advice you can offer.

As red as that plant is I'd also say sunburn.

I thought the same thing about the reddish-purple leaves, so I put up my greenhouse shadecloth about a week ago. A few of my other orchids showed the same sign, so it looks like I may have waited too late. But...would too much sun have caused the dark, pitted areas on the leaves, also?

Thanks Jeff, but I'm still concerned about the dark, pitted areas on the leaves. I'm sure you read my reply to smwboxer...

    What is your opinion?
