Thanks moosecakes...haha nice name by the way.. yah i dont think i will ever leave them in in the sun till 4 in florida again. I was just moving in to a new place and i was going to wake up early and take them inside. Well driving for 24 hours non-stop takes a toll on one person and i over slept the next day. Good thing this one is a fighter and the others werent as bad.

Speaking of sunburnt Phals......I currently have no leaves on one of my plants. The roots are in good shape though. Should I just leave it alone and see what happens? Will it grow a keiki like the plant in this thread??

Hi Courtney...If it were MY phal. I'd treat it the same as my other orchids, and hope for the best. It might grow a keiki. I wish you "GOOD LUCK"...Betty :-)

Great going! I know how special that first orchid is. Almost lost mine last year to root rot. Took all winter to grow enough roots so that now the leaves are nice and firm and new leaves are growing. I guess it is true that one should not give up on them.I am happy you have had successful results.

@courtney...i sprayed mine eveyday with rain water and grow ferts,,, so it wouldnt lose moister....but as you can see my roots are showing more....and there is a cave in the center so it wouldnt rot......if i didnt spray it the older roots would have shriveled and there would have been no hope
