well i feel realieve now, this one came like that when i bought it even the new growth so it was probably just the salts in the medium. Yeah patience is a virtue. There is like 4 bumps on the bottom of the plant where the roots, what is that i dont remember seeing that when i bought it

One of my paphs has these spots too...I searched for the cause and came up with nothing so I just waited to see if it got worse...I hasn't. Thanks for the thread! I just brushed it off since there were no further problems. Now I know what to be wary of!

Sorry to just see this. If it is not the fertilizer, it might be red spiders. Red spiders leave ugly rust marks like that on leaves when there is not enough humidity. The alcohol you put on the spots is a good idea. Best to mix it in a spray bottle and mist the underside of the leaves and potting media too.

    Hope all is better soon.

    Cheers,
    BD
