Default Can someone please take a look at my Phal

Is this normal, sorry for the darkness, taken with my phone. This morn my blooms seemed to have closed? Is this common, especially for all of them to do this at the same time?

Yes it seems normal with time blooms will wither and die. You still have some buds that will open soon and have more flowers to enjoy. Nice phal by the way =)

Is this orchid new in your home? Is it in a place that an air-conditioner vent can blow on the blooms? Have you moved it around from a different place recently. All of these factors can make the blooms fade all at one time. Also, if there are root issues (staying too wet - for example) can make this happen as well.

    Cheers,
    BD

No, it has been in the same place, out of the way from any vents. I did repot it a few weeks ago, other than that, everything is the same. I just found it odd that the three flowers did this all at once. I have another Phal right next to it is fine.

It may be due to your repotting. The plant cannot take up enough water to support itself and the flowers. Usually with my Phals the blooms die one by one and not just over night. Since you recently repotted it I would cut off the bloom spike and let the energy go to the plant and forming new roots.

Bill has it right. Cut the spike and give the plant a chance to recover. It will reward you next blooming season.

Orchids like cool weather but not necessary.
They prefer warm humid air to moist their roots.
They hate cool dry air that will result plant shock to leaf burn and dead heart / flower bud drop and also dehydrated roots.

As for me, I don't cut flower spikes of Phalaenopsis if it is green because later on another flower spike or keikes will emerge.
    Take care of the spikes.

But if the spikes turns slightly yellowish, cut-off the entire spike near the base of the stem to assure another healthy growth of leaves.
Flowering slows the leaf growth because much of the hormones and nutrients are concentrated to the flowers and stems.

I had one that this happened to and it turned out I had drowned it. It was a big box purchase and I didn't look closely at the pot it was in. There were no drain holes in the bottom and I was watering it like I did the one that I had sitting on a humidity tray. I drowned it. I had to repot. I lost a lot of roots. It has since recovered and has produced 3 new leaves in just 8 months!!
