    If the scale comes off with your fingernail and leaves a greyish powder on the leaf then it probably is scale. Yours does look like scarring though.

    I went on Google and looked blc. Volcano Blue up...it's beautiful! Of course, it's probably three yrs. from blooming...Hope you are a patient person...Betty :-)
