    I grow butterwort with my orchids and they keep the gnat problem down to the point that I have not seen one in months. When I first put the plants out they became peppered with gnats - to the point I believe they have eradicated every last one of the gnats.

    Hey Jason...We had a jenday conure for 20 yrs. He was a mean blank, blank, blank...loved my husband; bit me!Is yours a sun or jenday? Pretty birds, but moody to my way of thinking! LOL! By the way...his name was "Whoppie Gold Bird" Betty

    I have thought about getting some carnivores...I live very close to a VERY impressive carnivorous plant nursery. I think I am going to go multiple-strike on those little @&$"@s... Betty, mine is a green cheek conure. Her name is Talula. She is enamoured with my partner, Brit. She bites the hell out of me though...feisty little things they are!

    I use water with the mosquito dunks in it, no knats ! I have birds the dunks are not toxic . Problem is a Conure will re model leaves a systemic is not safe it enters the entire plant . Gin
