Default Phalaenopsis has lost all its leaves

My orchid (my first0 has lost all it's leaves.
    - I know i overwatered it; how and why at this point is moot.
    - it is growing in moss
    - it still has one bloom - it's starting to fade
    - it appears to have three new growth shoots

Is there any hope the orchid will sirvive? besides draining moss, making sure it is not still too wet, is there anything I can do

    Thanks,

    Eric

Hi Eric, you're on the right track. Just make sure you repot it with a different medium, preferably bark. Making sure its not too wet. Phals are strong, they do recover. This is exactly what happend with this orchid I took under care and that's how it got rejuvinated. It has a new leaf now and growing healthy beneath.

You can certainly try to save it if it's a favorite plant. But it probably won't bloom for a couple of years. On the other hand it can be a good learning experience. To increase you chances of success, pot it in the smallest possible pot that the roots will fit in. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. Give it your best shot. You will feel amazing when you save it! Keep asking questions, everyone will help you through it and some day you can proudly post pics of it when it reblooms! Good luck!
