    Default suddenly soggy phal leaf

Help! I bought this very pretty white phal (Phal pinlong "lucky" x Phal orglades white rock x self) yesterday, mostly because it was so large & healthy looking & today one of the leaves has a 4" soggy, weeping spot in the middle, just a total collapse of the cell structure. Should I cut this off & dust with cinnamon? what would cause this?

I would cut & treat.Sun/cold damage can cause these soggy patches.
Treat it & see how it goes.

Ok, I'm flummoxed, the place where I cut yesterday has 2-3" soggy spot today-I cut again, this time about 1" in & dusted with cinnamon (leaving me with not much of a leaf)- am I going to lose this plant?

Have you checked the roots ?
May be worth unpotting it & checking that all is well
with the roots & medium !
