    I forgot something
I sprayd every day the leaves with rain water with just one drop of OrchidGrow in it, carefully not to leave any moisture in the middle of the crown
I don't know if this made the difference or not
but this was my recovering formula

    Hello everyone
I am sad because my phal with crown rot with 2 keikis about 1 cm big succombed suddenly along with other 4 of my sick phals
I think they got heat stroke, even if they were an the shade, or the rapid temperature variations (38C in tha day, 12 at night), last week was too uch to them
So, as a conclusion, putting them outside, even protected from sun and rain, proved to be not such a good idea
these days are so warm I brought in even my vandas, since the air humidity is very low in this heat

I just purchases a Phaleonopsis today at a local big box store for $1.58, but as I returned home with it I noticed that it too had crown rot - sadly I pulled out the two top leaves and doused the affected part with cinnamon - I hope it makes it. At $1.58 I won't be to overly sad if I can't save it. The good part is that it has a wonderful mass of healthy roots! How is yours currently doing?

    Hello
    and wellcome to the forum
sadly mine succombed along with other 4 sick phald due to heat stroke, I think
    but yours should be fine
just give it light, as much as it tolerates, nutrients and heat (but don't overdo it, mine died when I put them outside, even shaded an it got over 35 Celsius)
I think a nice, stable spot inside will do the trick
if it grows keikis from the base of the plant, you don't have to remove them, it will thrive using the root system of the mother plant
    so good luck
If you have other orchids some photos wouls be nice
