Hi, new here and would appreciate any help you can give:
I bought a Paph. Venustum from ---- Vendor information removed - see FAQs on Posting ---- a couple of months ago. When it arrived I noticed it was fairly small - approx 12cm across with 7 leaves (though was described as blooming size). Also noticed it seemed very loose in the medium-coarse orchid bark it was potted in. I decided to check out the root system and found that it only had one decent sized root.
I contacted the seller, but he told me that one or two roots was normal.
Now a couple of months later, one lower leave has died, and the two above are showing signs of yellowing. I've looked on the web, and forums, and it seems that only having one root is not a good thing... Can anyone advise?
