I would love to know what kind of hallucinations whiteflies have ?
    Any suggestions ?

What a lovely thread this is - much moire interesting than all those boring pics of wonderful orchids with everyone making such enlightening replies as "cool" , "love it" , "great" etc....

angel trumpet tree is most likely Brugsmansia. Datura species are herbaceous bushes with erect (not pendulous) flowers. Guess the white flies are not getting 'stoned' hahaha

Hmmmm....interesting. According to the websites I just visited, Brugmansia was the original "angel trumpet," but the name is also sometimes attributed to Datura. Under "hallucinogenic effects," Brugmansia was listed as a "deliriant." The sites also say that most parts of the Brugmansia plant contain atropine, scopolamine and hyoscyamine. I have no idea what those are, but they certainly sound like they could screw with your brain!

So yes, I believe I do have some "tripping" bugs in my house.

As to what kind of hallucinations they're having...well, your guess is as good as mine! They seem to be liking the glow of my e-reader quite a bit these days. Next time some bugs land on my Nook, I'll make sure to check if they're stumbling before I squish them!
