    Default New leaves forming crinkled

I've had a couple different plants put out new leaves with kinks. They formed crinkled looking a bit like an accordion. Since it's happened on different plants I can only think it's something in the environment or something that I'm doing. Any ideas?

Accordian pleating is pretty common in Oncidium alliance plants, and sometimes Zygopetalum types, maybe others. It is a pretty clear sign of lack of water as the tender new tissues are growing, especially with low humidity. Could be media getting too dry between waterings, or could be unhealthy roots from too much water.

Pleated is the word I couldn't think of! No wonder my search didn't come up with much. One that is pleating is on a mount and lack of water/humidity is probably it. I'm doing better with humidity now and I'll adjust my watering so hopefully the problem will go away. Thanks Kirk.
