Repot in sphagnum ( first soak it without fertilizer then give it a good squeeze ). You can bury the new root just under the surface but don't water again until the sphagnum has completely dried out. Don't pack too tightly which will allow air to get to the roots. If possible plant in a pot with slitted sides which will allow a good flow of air and will also help to dry out the compost a little quicker.
