Inspect the other leaves as well and I would inspect the roots as well. I would suggest cutting the leaf. is there any foul smell in the medium or the infected leaf?

Could be an older leaf that has been damaged somehow. Did it just appear or has it been there since you bought it? I ask because I have a Paph. Maudiae that has almost exactly the same brownish appearance on the oldest leaf because it was cut at some point prior to my purchasing it. The plant has flowered fine and it hasn't spread or bothered the other parts of the plant.

looks like some water got in the crown. Give that leaf a little tug, if it pulls off easy and the rest of the leaf is that way farther down in the crown then id cut that fan off with a sterile knife and apply cinnamon or anti fungal to the cut. I see you live in NY, as do i. you need to be really carefull when watering in the winter. try not to get any water at all in the crown or on the leaves during winter months. I actually only water my paphs about once or twice week depending on humidity in my grow area.

    I have about ten paph's....
Yours looks ten times better than any of mine. I think all of them have a brown spot of two that look like yours.

Looks like water was left on the leaf. That leaf will probably drop off. The plant looks healthy. No worries unless you see it spread to another leaf.

    cheers,
