Hi Dede, I faced a similar problem with one of my Den (Alba). However, it is a new shoot which became yellow when it was about 6 inches long. It just became yellow and died back. At that time, the plant was spiking too from another mature cane, and sadly, 2 of the spikes also died back. In my case, I believe is too much water during the growth period. Well, now, there are new shoots appearing again. Hopefully they will mature! Happy growing!

I'm not sure whether it will die or not, but Dens are hardy plants. This yellowing leaves in your orchid affects the new leaves of the cane. Probably this cane will not grow further. You can check the cane, is it yellowing as well? If it is not, probably it will send out a new shoot from the bottom at a later stage. If the cane begins to yellow, it will probably die back. Keep humidity and hope that a new shot will appear later. All the best!
