I have a house iguana. She just ate my BLC bryce canyon. She ate the new growths for my Ondtbrs kenneth bivens, lots of the leaves for my Brsdm Gilded Urchin, and my only Phal. The eating of the catt is the last straw! Hope she knows not to eat euphorbia...

    Hi S.O.S.!

Your orchid aliment is actually an Orchid Disaster! Time for bit of 'cage time' for the iguana. S/he would be lucky to still be in the house if my orchids were being eaten as snacks! Ouch!

Hope your damage is not too much and you are able to bring your plants back to life.

    Cheers!

Im sure the orchid will bring your iguana renewed vitality. So its not all in vain. Go easy on the iguana, lol.

Now I know never to get an iguana.

I'm sorry, but if anything ate MY Bryce Canyon, it would be immediately TERMINATED!!! A phal, okay. But a beauty like Bryce Canyon - NO MERCY!

I suppose that is why we have the term "life in prison". Guess the iguana will have to get used to the new pad. LOL! Bread and water for awhile no doubt.

But at least you know your iguana has good taste. He could have eaten just about anything, but he chooses your Bryce Canyon cattleya as any orchidoholic would!

    Cheers!

Shes not to be kept in a cage, just away from my windowsills and table. The Bryce Canyon has an empty seath this year at least I hope it does something mircaulous and regains something vanity!

Is she really as orange as the one photo looks? What type is she? I've run into a couple different ones in Central America, but none that had orange coloration.

Wow! Didn't see the pics before...

Is the dog eating her food, or is she eating the dog food? Or is she eating your dog?

Maybe you could buy lots of dogs as sacrificial diversions to keep her away from your orchids...

Ok. I do know that was a sick suggestion, and I promise to try and behave better...

I was ready to strangle our dachsund puppy for going after my paph phillipenese but at least it was only one and it's now a division in orchid ICU. Iguanas eating orchids is definately a serious offense. Does she crawl up on tables and things? I'm wondering if you put them on something she can't get on if it would work... then again just caging her would work. Maybe the orange color came from an orchid she ate lol.
