    Default Dendrobium with Spots

I have a dendrobium that has developed brown spots on the leaves and cane. It is under a grow light. I was away from home for two weeks and did not see these before I left. Any thoughts on whether this is an infection or too much light?

Looks like heat damage. Has the plant been in sun, after spraying?
Technically they are necrotic cells (dead) but the question is why. Heat is theonly thing I can think of which leads to this result. Of course the patches can't be cured. But new growths should be OK.

Thanks. I have the plant underneath a light stand. I will reposition it so that it is not so close to the bulbs. Glad to hear it does not look a disease.
