Oh I *LOVE* lantana. I had it in California and it changed 5 different colors. Maybe that would be a great one for next year. I do like the fuschia, I have the jewel tone, but it is messy. It drops there purple 'berries' and they stain the porch. I had to give them a try once though..

For some reason, the spiders love my lantana! I always have orb spiders building in them. Mine always ends up w/ratty looking leaves but great flowers! I have the one that starts off red/orange/yellow and turns pink/coral/pale yellow. Very pretty!

Speaking of spiders, we have one near my house that has built a three foot orb. It is humungous! Wish I could get a pic but it is in a place that has no contrast. Totally blends in...

LOL, I was never a bug squisher. I used a magnifying glass and well, you know what happens...

My new Fuschias have just opened. They are indoor growing with my Phrags
    for the moment(avoids the critters).

The piccie doesn,t do justice to the plant as the centre is pure black when they first open.
(Oncidium back bulb is an experiment).

Back bulb is in s/h , thought it might work as well as sphag & bag.
There are 2 back bulbs & the second 1 is completely buried in the medium & 2 months on it hasn,t rotted.
I really like the mother plant(Oncidium Flexuosum).

I like those also. I had one and it got spidermites fast and furious. I tried with all my will (and chemicals) to get rid of them ,but they kept hatching. I eventually had to bag it up and dump it. I get weepy thinking about it.
