    I read that snails usually eat in the dark at night and that you can often find them then if you use a flashlight. That's slightly more agressive than the apple thing, but obviously not as harsh as chemicals. Using the apples is a good start, though.

    I soaked the whole pot in coffee water for a night, all snails in the pot were all dead, and had not found a single one of them since.

    Wouldn't soaking overnight possibly cause some risk of root damage/rot? Certainly, soaking would be a great way to drown the little 'suckers'!!!!! Oh, what kind of coffee....Starbucks Morning Blend, House Blend....Dark Roast???? Just joking....the idea is great and thank you VERY much....
