Thumbs up Some help about Phals

Hi
It is nice to meet all orchids growers people here, I am a grower from NJ with almost 6 months growing Phals (around 40000 actually) all different colors. I have discovered some insects and larvaes around the moss and roots (I believe they are spring tails). Can you guys give me an advise about how to take care and erradicate it?
Thanks for your help.
Jorge

Hi there... Its natural... taking care of that population of Phals is a big responsibility and every pest MUST be monitored... But Springtails are actually saprophages and consume dead plant matter... You don't need to worry about them... they appear everywhere when there is enough moisture and plant matter... Sometimes I see them when I lift a heavy clay pot...
