Default A good reason to use Orchid-Bids

Since it is free to use the store for one permanent listing, it can't hurt to keep one thing in the Orchid-Bids site. I have a prominent O-B banner in my new ezine and I noticed that when I checked the orchids webring, the O-B banner shows up right away in the preview screen. The Orchids webring admin gave me a real strong review, too, so that will also enhance good traffic: "Orchidophilic ezine offering interesting articles, videos, & design. Features auctions in Orchid-Bids, has free-subscription newsletter that goes out monthly."

Except for the Amazon links, my site is a non-commercial popular-level ezine that will hopefully grow to hard-print status and will certainly drive traffic to Orchid-Bids listings after it is finished. (Almost there, now!) If there is a constant presence of at least a handful of listings in O-B from different people, they'll have a synergistic effect and begin to attract a loyal following.

I'll be featuring one main article, a guest article, and a book review in each issue. Please feel free to submit your work if you like to write short pieces! Payment is name-credit, a link to your site or other work, and a warm fuzzy feeling and maybe someday it'll make enough money to cover the expense account for a "staff" trip to a big orchid show somewhere exotic
