Default Orchid Value

I read in an earlier thread about how there is a fee for items priced above a certain limit, is there a way I can found out how much an orchid is worth on orchidBids?

There is a fee for items listed for 25.00 or more or if an item sells for 25.00 or more. Otherwise, there is no listing fee or end of auction fees. We made it easy to sell or trade your plants for free.

You can look on the site at the fee schedule: Orchid-Bids site fees. When a person lists an orchid plant for sale, s/he can specify a starting bid or a total price. Sometimes people want to sell something for a fixed dollar amount, so they list the item that way. Most of the time, items are listed as an auction where people place bids until the time runs out. The highest bidder wins the item.

I hope I answered your question.

Cheers,
BD

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

If all you want to do is find out how much an orchid might be worth, then just take some pictures of the plant and the flower and post them in the appropriate forum. Then ask.

You should also be able to do a search about it on the internet and see what vendors are selling them for.
