Okay all you quitters out there (even if your parents told you to never quit... )

You're a few days in..... how's it going for you? I start to worry when you're too quiet.

As for me and my "dieting," I haven't really gotten started, but today may be the day. I found a recipe card at the market for an entire meal, and it's only 8 to 10 points (for those like me, who prefer that famous program) for the whole meal. Now let's just hope it tastes as good as it sounds. I'll be fixing Sweet Orange Shrimp with Oven Herb Potatoes, and Green Beans with Portabella Mushrooms. YUM!! At least I hope it's YUM!!

I am doing okay getting by day by day I dont feel my heart is totally in it but as you know from email we are chipping away at it slowly and steadily, just taking each hour as it comes and trying to find things to keep me mind of them. that dinner sounds really good I could do with losing weight also but trying to figure out if I can do both at once LOL now that would be a feat LOL

Bill, I'm so glad you're doing well, and celebrating is a wonderful thing, isn't it?
Where are you in PA? It's one of my favorite states. We used to have a place in an RV type park in the Poconos, and I miss it. In fact, I'm trying to figure out how I can possibly afford to buy another one so I can get out of here for H season each year. As for dinner, it can be anytime. If you jump on a plane now, you could probably be here in time to help prep it. hahaha

Carrie, your heart will follow, as soon as you start to feel better and know it!! I think you're fixated to a degree about not having completed this the first go round, and the trick will be to get that out of your head and just look forward. Think about how much money you're saving, and what you could do with it, besides watching it go up in smoke. That alone should be incentive. And until it does, I'll be all over your case if need be!! hehehe

ok, I'm sorry I'm not very present here. As I said before this week is being very hard with much work.

    But here is my updating:

I am keeping my 5 cigarets less to each day. I am not going to give up. Even if I'm not able to improve it for a while.
I am maintaining my project of changes in the routine and that includes to sleep early... fewer hours to smoke! also for this reason I have been less here.

know, my heart is conected to you all.

Carrie, can you realize what you've started.... this is great, thank you.

Anne, Tim, Bill, for me, the efforts in your particular struggles are a lot of welcome, this is also more motivating. I'm also with you.

I am sure that all we will be able to do what is necessary if we keep together

Thank you by the support of all.

well, yesterday i was out all day and when i went to get a drink, i grabbed water! and then went to a fast joint for a burger and instead of getting a fizzy drink, i drank my bottle of water instead! So yesterday, 2 litres of water!

Today though, i was at home and well, there's the last of the 600mls of the stuff and well, I was cleaning the pond and repotting and i got thirsty....

it's the last bit of it in the house... and i will definitely not be buying anymore...

I'm sorry for the mishap today though...

I quit one year ago on Sept. 29th, and my partner still smokes. If I can do it, anyone can!

I know all you guys and gals can achieve your goals. I did! 15 years without a cig. I gave it up the day I had a heart attack. They told me it was a direct result of my smoking, so I went cold turkey. I drank meg amounts of tea during my withdrawal period and that definitely helped get me through a very rough time. Now I can't even tolerate the smell of it. We're all pulling for you, we know you can do it.
