Hugggs Rosalia and a huge congratulations,

I am also glad I started this thread s I need to get my rear in gear and get motivated to quit again, I slipped and started smoking again a few months ago what with all the stress,

I have been very sick and am currently battling a messed up digestive system due to some medication i am on my whole stomach and digestive system is badly inflamed and causing me much pain and sickness as well as all the usual rubbish with the ME and FIbro

Finances are dire at the moment as my hubby lost his job and is now my full time carer due to the deterioration in my health, I dont know what id do without him, he seems to be the main carer for my orchids at the moment as I dont have it in me to keep watering and pampering them, some are doing better than others and over the winter I had a few casualties but most have survived my terrible care

I really m very proud of you ROsalia I cant tell you what great news it is to know you are doing so well. I have lost 65 lb and am now at a point my nurse told me I wasnt allowed to lose more weight LOL so I am just trying to stabilise it, finding what I can and cant eat, I found I have a lactose intolerance and problems with eggs and pork so having to be awfully careful what I eat and drink not to make myself sicker than i already am,

I will be in touch again soon just taking life one step at a time at the moment LOL

Rosalia, you go girl!!! I'm really proud of you.

Carrie forgot to mention how well she's done with her weight loss. She's at her goal weight and really needs to stop losing, even though she'd like to go further. I'm doing okay with my eating, but not nearly as good as Carrie is. So far, I'm down about 30 something pounds on a low carb program. Of course, that's sort of down the tubes at the moment, because my grand kids are visiting for the next month, and then I'll probably be doing a California visit again, although it should be easier for me out there, provided we don't eat out all the time.

Bruce, thank you for alerting me to this thread. It just makes me so happy when I read about someone succeeding at this type of thing. I'm so proud of Rosalia, and of Carrie too, and it just makes me want to work that much harder to reach my own goals.

    Carrie--

As someone who has seen both COPD and other lung problems "up close" in my extended circle of family & friends, I'm really thrilled for you to have the guts & determination to quit. It does take a lot of determination, but it is a great thing to do for youself. I'll be cheering for you!

I'm glad you've managed to lose weight, Carrie. This is always very difficult too.

think you could use all the current medical resources, but above all, trust you in your determination, your desire to be happy.
I think the well-being also has a lot to do with our decision on that.

    Anne, thank you.

    BD very thank you.

let's stay together on it, that is really good!
