One of the things I love about this forum is how much we care for each other, and how that turns into trust and respect. I'm so impressed that Jason trusted us enough to share this with us. We really are a good group of friends, aren't we?!

And goodness knows, there's little enough understanding out there about a lot of things - and people live so far away from one another. Having a safe support network is a real gift. We owe Bruce real gratitude for giving us this wonderful gift!

I say ditto all that. So glad we can reach out to people whom we have never met but still care, and will respond to our needs and concerns.

My English is not sophisticated enough to write everything I think and how I feel. Jordan has expressed perfectly what I think
My full support for you and your husband. Sincerely.

Eric - I can safely say that your English is far more sophisticated than my French - you have an excellent grasp of the nuances. Je sais bien que je ne peux pas parler francais comme tu parle anglais. Je n'ai pas parle francais depuis vingt ans. Pardon, s'il vous plais, tous les faux pas ce que je fais.

Default Another Update on Phillip as of Wednesday morning at 2:30 a.m.

After Phillip got his meds Monday night, I saw some real breakthroughs in his thought process; however, I sat with him for 5 hourss, and he became progressively more out of touch. They actually thought he had ben doing well enough in the ICU that they moved him to a regular room yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, after they made the decision and took him down, his cough and oxygen levels started deteriorating again. When I left, I felt pretty sure I'd get a call in the middle of the night that they were moving him back to the ICU. Well, the call came at 2:30, but they weren't moving him back - he just insisted that the nurse call me because he couldn't breathe and he felt like he was dying. His stats weren't all that bad, so a lot of this is disorientation and anxiety. I'm hoping that his psych meds kick in more strongly SOON, before the men in white coats come for ME!

Once again, it's a roller coaster ride and I never go on those things anyway (roller coasters, I mean - they make me sick). I'm hoping to see some improvement today - always looking for the positive signs even when all I see are the negative ones.

Thanks, everyone, for letting me "talk" this out - it helps!
