Just keep on the positive side of the road. It is awfully hard at times, I know.
We are, Patty!
My English is not sophisticated enough to write everything I think and how I feel. Jordan has expressed perfectly what I think
My full support for you and your husband. Sincerely.
being cat people, you and Philip
After Phillip got his meds Monday night, I saw some real breakthroughs in his thought process; however, I sat with him for 5 hourss, and he became progressively more out of touch. They actually thought he had ben doing well enough in the ICU that they moved him to a regular room yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, after they made the decision and took him down, his cough and oxygen levels started deteriorating again. When I left, I felt pretty sure I'd get a call in the middle of the night that they were moving him back to the ICU. Well, the call came at 2:30, but they weren't moving him back - he just insisted that the nurse call me because he couldn't breathe and he felt like he was dying. His stats weren't all that bad, so a lot of this is disorientation and anxiety. I'm hoping that his psych meds kick in more strongly SOON, before the men in white coats come for ME!
Once again, it's a roller coaster ride and I never go on those things anyway (roller coasters, I mean - they make me sick). I'm hoping to see some improvement today - always looking for the positive signs even when all I see are the negative ones.
Thanks, everyone, for letting me "talk" this out - it helps!
