    Default Bigfoot's (Phillip's) Progress

Tonight was the first time we saw any encouraging improvement in Phillip's condition. He was fairly alert and obviously thrilled when I told him about MOTM. He is breathing more on his own, and the drs will try to wean him off the ventilator tomorrow (maybe). Still not sure which direction this will go in,but I'm clinging to every positive thought and word I hear. Thank you again for all your thought and prayers - I think they're working.

Tomorrow, when I have perhaps slept well for the first time in over a week, I will tell y'all a little more, and, if I'm really ambitious - post some photos from my orchid binge today - the worst yet, but hey, I was celebrating, and nothing says CELEBRATION better than a new orchid!

Great news to hear! A positive attitude is always great medicine! And did you think to purchase some orchids for him as well? Think before you answer! If you answer no, you get to have another round of purchasing!

I am glad to hear he is beginning to improve. And it sounds like your shopping was what you needed. I hope Phillip will be home and much better soon.

I DID! I bought him an Angraecum Sesquipedale ('Phantom Flourish x Flambouyant') WITH 2 spikes with buds on the ends! How's that for a coming home suprise? (It will probably be in bloom before he gets home, so it should work out well!)
