Well, I just returned from setup at the show. I attach some preliminary setup photos. The first is my exhibit. It is kind of sad since I did not have anything spectacular in bloom. I smashed the one paph that I really had hopes of getting a ribbon with. It is Paph. Green Envy. Now I call it Paph squished pouch.

ANYHOOO... here is my exhibit. Tomorrow it will not have all of the judging tags all over it and I will take my good camera and get a better shot.

And this is the society exhibit. I designed it and had several hands help put it together with member plants. It is 12 x 14 feet in size. The theme of the show is "Orchids at the Pinnacle', so this is my "Roof-Top Terrace".

Again, I will get better shots with my good camera tomorrow after the judging tags are removed.
It was cool today to meet Geoffrey and see the plant that got him into orchids. His society from Little Rock has put in a beautiful display.
Cheers,
BD
