OOohhh..I drooled over the vanda display.

Call me cheap but I wouldn't pay $50 for a Neo in a 3" or so pot, even if it was variegated

I have to agree. Setting aside the fact that I am not a neo fan, if I had to choose to spend $50.00 on a single plant, I would have picked one of those vandas on display.
Some of them go as cheap as $35.00 for a fully grown in-bloom plant.

The Sobralia displays however, have me intrigued now. All the plants they had on sale were way too large to carry back home.
But seeing one in person, now makes me want to try to buy some smaller divisions and try one out for myself.

The cuitlauzina pendula was my favorite of all the displays (The 16 year old Laelia came in second). I have not yet researched Cuitlauzina culture. But just by looking at the plant I could tell that it has a pretty intimidating culture requirement

Another amazing thing, daunting to us windowsill hobbyists: those folks have to either be so good that they know their orchids will bloom on schedule, or they have to have such huuuuge collections that they know they will have a booth-full ready, no matter what!

these are the growers that I have alot to do with. Those plants in the cartons were unpotted two weeks ago and readied for export.
Next year when they are there you will have to ask about Zygos,if you use wildcat or the likes,do a breeder search under zygos and you will see why I say ask him.
