Okay .... you're cheap! LOL
I wouldn't spend that much either on one. Though I wouldn't spend that much on a paph or phrag either, I do know folks that would.
Thanks for the pics, John! I also commend your restraint in spending -- especially with all the plantage there to choose from.

Cuitlauzinas are supposed to be cold/cool growing. You and I would probably cook it in our growing conditions quite easily.
The 16 year old Laelia was a real drool fest as well...

Some of them go as cheap as $35.00 for a fully grown in-bloom plant.
The Sobralia displays however, have me intrigued now. All the plants they had on sale were way too large to carry back home.
But seeing one in person, now makes me want to try to buy some smaller divisions and try one out for myself.
The cuitlauzina pendula was my favorite of all the displays (The 16 year old Laelia came in second). I have not yet researched Cuitlauzina culture. But just by looking at the plant I could tell that it has a pretty intimidating culture requirement

Wow! Despite some of the issues you described, it still looks like orchid heaven. How ever did you manage to spend only $200! It was a little overwhelming just looking at all those plants for sale.
