Sweet haul Marissa! I want at least one of everything in the pictures. I would need a new house or two to put them in! How did you control yourself and only bring home 5?

OMG, Marissa. Do you think they'd let me move in there? I'd water the plants for them! All kidding aside, that show, or at least what you posted is fabulous. So many orchids, so little room/money. Thanks Marissa for posting these.
Tami did you see those Vandas? I'm drooling!

I always knew CA would be a great place for me to live - now I'm sure of it!! Maybe I'll get out there someday yet....

Wow, great pictures Marissa! I felt like I was right there drooling with you but couldn't buy anything. Oh the pain! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I loved the vandas. The really dark blue ones were to die for! Love the floofies too.

Nice haul. Your unknown epicatt looks very similar to my Lc Tropical Pointer 'Spot', but yours looks more like 'Cheetah'. Great spots.

How difficult it must have been to have to leave so many behind. There were several that were amazing in there. The one that was sat up so high to accomodate the flower spikes hanging down was mind boggling....do you know what it's name was?? I was wondering what gets that huge. A few of the floofies were too pretty as well, I love the delicate art shades.
Thanks for the drool fest! I'm going shopping now! They are having an orchid show/sale here this week....

I felt the same way too. If I don't control myself me and my son would be living outside our two bedroom place to give room to my chids....ha ha. Plus the money I spent is my lunch allowance so I will not be eating lunch for a while..he he. At least I'll lose weight and have my chids. It's a win win situation. But it was really hard when you see all those pretty blooms.

I'm glad you guys liked them, I like to see photos too and sometimes I keep looking at postings over and over just to see the beautiful blooms. Yeah, I like the weather in Cali too, where I live it does not really get too cold in winter (no snow except in the mountains) and not extremely hot in the summer. I've been living in this place for 4 years now but have not even turn the heater on. Sometimes I use a portable heater and just get under the comforter. It maybe because the extention house that we live in is newly built so it still has good insulation.

It was very difficult, specially this was my first time going to a show like this. I wanted everything I see. I did not get the name of that main attraction of the show, I got too excited my A.D.D kicked in. The Vandas are so pretty too but way over my budget and don't have space for them.

There's another show coming in Oct. that I'm planning to go to and it will be a bigger one.

    Hi Marissa,
Such a show would not be healthy for me or my money!
Please give me a bucket... I'm drooling terribly.
I guess I will be looking at it quite a few times.
I particularly like the Catt's and the Zygopetalum's
At this moment I am trying to find some nice Catt's here around, but they are very expensive, even the hybrids. It seems like the price in the States is quite reasonable!
Please show us pictures once the plants with spikes show their gorgeous flowers...
Thanks for sharing! This makes this grey and rainy Monday more shiny!

    Thumbs up

OHhhhhhhhhh. Those Vandas. It must be Vanda time in CA. That would be a Vanda lovers dream.

Do you know the name of the orange one, 2nd plant in group 10?

Thanks for sharing all this beauty with us. It must have taken a lot of self control not to buy 10, 15, 20.........or more. Marilyn
