Default Ft. Worth Orchid Society Show!!!
Hi everyone!

I have some great news to share about River Valley Orchidworks and the Ft. Worth Orchid Show at the Botanic Gardens. Our table top exhibit of ten plants won BEST COMMERCIAL TABLE TOP, BEST IN CLASS TROPHY for our Nobile Dendrobium, three blue ribbons, one red ribbon, and two of our plants ( one of our standard catts and a beautiful paph) were chosen for AOS award judging.

The people here in Ft. Worth have been very friendly and supportive, and we wanted to thank the Ft. Worth Orchid Society for inviting us to participate. They are a great group of folks!

I will post some photos when I get some time later in the week.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Thanks guys--it was a really good show--phenomenal people all around.

Ok, this is a little emabarassing. I just downloaded the pics from our memory card, and they suXorz big-time: it seems that Brutal Dreamer + Camera = Brutal Blurry. (Bruce is going to hit me when he reads this....).

LJA + Camera = Worse Blurry, so you're just going to have to trust me that things really did look Something Awesome if you could have seen them in person.

I've managed to salvage two of the pics (please forgive the EARTHQUAKE), one of our display which appears as the jumbled mess at the top, and one of Bruce looking exhausted but pleased behind our sales tables on Saturday afternoon....
