Default 2010 GLOS -- Warning! This sucker's picture heavy!

Well since Margo posted some wonderful displays, I figured I'd focus on the plants and art work at the show I attended:

Difficult to get a decent shot of the venders' area but here's one:

There's always artwork displayed at this show. Here's a couple pieces:

This is one of those pictures that is made up of hundreds of little orchid pictures

Some of the cut flower displays were beautiful, but I really can't see how one brings oneself to chop off flowers one may have been waiting a year for......

And now a plethora of flower pics -- let the drooling comense!

This one I found quite interesting because, upon talking to the hybridizer, I was very surprised to learn that NEITHER parent was a vini. Instead, BOTH parents were SPOTTED paphs. The spotting simply wound up being so complete that the result was this dark beauty.

For those who are truly masochistic, there are additional photos for viewing in my album at: GLOS show 2010 pictures

Would you happen to know the name of the yellow paph?? It's so pretty! I think I have seen a similar hybrid before.

That one was just labeled "yellow complex" so I'm guessing the owner lost the name tag and now it's just a NoID.
