MORE 2005 Paph Forum Pics!!!!!
I had misplaced the link for Allen Black's photos of a few plants at the Paph Forum but here it is:
http://www.ablackorchid.com/Indexpage6.htm
This isn't bad work for plants on display with LOTS of people in attendance! He does great work!
It was well-attended and worth the price of admission. I'm looking forward to the 2006 event!
My favs are the Norito Hasegawa, malipoense, the large pink-spotted complex (Luminary by Marriott), Saint Ouen, and the besseae flavum. The lower bloom on the Saint Ouen was broken off while the plant was being shown/explained in front of the crowd!!! Good thing it was the owner that did it!
Nice event!

Those pictures look fantastic... it's so well set up... hmm, what's his secret? Are those taken with a digi-cam?
That Norito Hasegawa goes into my wishlist as well :-)
Cheers and thanks for sharing

Funny you should say that, Gin. That's exactly what Hadley Cash, Marriott Orchids owner, said when I asked him about his non-ribbon winning pink complex, Luminary. He said "It's available, but it won't be one of the cheaper ones..."

I have seen for the first time, in person, Paph Michael Kopowitz (sp?) and I said to myself, "Holy cwap" no wonder they are crazy about these things. Nice pics .
