I think the beauty of that 'greenish Paph in the second picture' is that you don't need to water it at all, but may require some dusting from time to time Lol

Thanks, Emos. Seems like dusting the 'green one' is not the only thing needed!!! What about 'clearing the fog' from my eyes or the 'cobwebs' from my brain ......and to think that I had just had my cataract ops 2 years ago!!!! Wonder where I can get that sukhakulii, though.

Don't feel too bad, Yew. I see these clay orchids for sale at shows in my area on a regular basis and last year I made a comment about the neat clay orchids that a vendor had for sale to a woman who was attending the show. She got a stunned look on her face and then I realized that she thought they were real orchids . And this was with them there where you could pick them up and look closely, not a photo.

LOL. She does very nice work don't you think, Yew? Like Susan, I have -- on more than one occasion -- been witness to the stunned expressions on people's faces at shows when I mention to them that the flowers in her display are clay. I will mention to her, next time I see her, about tweaking the buds on her paph creations. Did anyone spot the nonpaph works of hers?.........

Yes, picture #5 of the Cattleya with a doll in the background. I think this one is the most realistic of all. Really lovely .

I have 5 of the clay orchids from that lady, always get them at the Lansing show. i display them in a miniature glass display case, I fear that is the closest I will ever get to an orchid greenhouse................
