They had so many awesome slippers there. How did you control yourself so well? Sounds like you made good choices. Paph. spicerianum especially is super cool looking.

I'm upset. I came home from work today to see that the bud on the paph barbatum fell off. ...I see a burn spot on the bud. I placed this on a table next to a window that is curtained, behind a phal and some other plants.

Might have been burned on the way home. Buds often drop after being transported to a different location. Always a good idea to buy in spike rather than bud if you can. So sorry.

    Cheers,

Yea, definitely will keep that in mind for next time.

Here are the better pictures from my phone. All of the others came out blurry. I'm sure they aren't anything new but they were so fascinating to me as it was the first time I was seeing so many different types of orchids in one place! They were really all quite beautiful to me. I wish I had one of each

First pic...had to take a picture of the joyce hasegawa, hehe.
Second..I don't know what that is but I thought it looked cool.
Third pic...the cool table. I must have stood at that table for a long time.
Fourth pic...the paph barbatum when I bought it. Did I miss something? Is it just me or does it look like it's "pulled too tight" like in the cartoons by one of those long canes and gets yanked off the stage?

More pics for you all to figure out, hehe.

First one reminds me of a helicopter for some reason. What is it?
Second one, I really like because of the profile of the plant...definitely like a face. Kind of freaky but really cool.
Third, I forget what this is but I'm guessing it's pinochio? I want one, lol.
Last pic, the Phal I bought for myself. Yellow is such a cheerful color
