Some very nice flowers there. Looks like it was heavily in the catts ... which I tend to favor anyway.![]()
Great photos, thanks for sharing! I'd also like to know the name of the first one, looks like it could be a blue catt?
Alas, I'm sorry, but I didn't get a good photo of the tag of the first photo, wish I did. It does seem like the show was heavy in Catts but not really, it's just that they were usually the closest to the fronts on the tables and easier to photograph. It actually seemed well balanced overall in the mix of types of orchids on display. Given that I was using a Sony cybershot digital point and shoot camera I was limited in what I could take pictures of. I did end up with a number of blurry photos and some that were just too far off in the distance to show any detail. - martha
These are examples of some of the photos that just don't do the orchids justice, I just couldn't get close enough with my little camera.

Really good photos, Martha - thank you so much for taking all the time and trouble to take and post them - and ids, too! I'm very impressed. "Our" show is the weekend after next - we aren't actively involved - at least we don't think so. But I'm looking forward to what the wicked english greenhouse witch can come up with.![]()
Well done Martha - what a marathon . NIce to see all that stuff totally different to the orchids that most folk grow over here !
That interesting blue one at the beginning - I shall wake up in the middle of the night a few days hence remembering the name, perhaps.. I have seen it elsewhere , quite recently.
Nice variety, tks for sharing!
The B. Little stars is incredible! WOW. Thanks for sharing all of these photos.
cheers,
