Boy, it's kind of depressing to see what other people have in bloom now, and all I've got is a few paphs and phals..... and one cym. But those photos are so gorgeous! And the paph charlesworthii - I have wanted one for a long time, but never seem to find one. Crosses, yes, but plain old charlesworthii, no.

Wow - the Lc. Taida Swan really fooled me. It's very similar to the Mildred Rives. I just checked out some of ol' Mildred's other progeny. Lc. Orglade's Grand is also very similar, with only a slighty darker purple on the lip.

You're still e-veal...but in a cute kind of way!

E-veal? Moi? Of course not ... Hehehee! Hey, when you are addicted, it is always fun to bring along some fellow addicts for the ride ...
Most of the semi albas are quite similar although I have to say the intensity/saturation and the color of the lip could be different. The size of the flowers and the whiteness of the flowers are also another distinction. These differences can be recognized only by seeing the blooms. The pictures do not tell the whole story.

More pictures from the show ...
Pictures were taken for an exquisite exhibit that was actually a vivarium and all orchids were mounted and enclosed in this glass enclosure. There were 50+ orchids in bloom in there!
    Cheers. Hoa.
