Ok, i managed to find a photo site that allows unlimited photos, and i batch edited and uploaded them. there are 215 photos, resized to 640x480 (or thereabouts), so that it is accessible to those with lower connection speeds. if you want an original resolution copy of any of the pictures, just pm me with a link to the picture, and ill send you the original. the original image quality is MUCH higher. enjoy!!

I like the pic of the Doc wassellii ( P1010682 - is that you holding that monster?); and the Den moschatum ( P1010721 - love the more autmunal shades); and I love this Paph hybrid ( P1010749 - possibly spicerianum x hirsuttisumum?); and another Aussie cutie ( P1010767 - beautiful and cute but evil pests when they start chewing on the wooden furniture!); and I love this Paph too ( P1010827 - petals ends suggests philippinense... but don't know what else is in the cross); and awww.. love that niveum ( P1010831)!!!
Thanks for the trip Col.
cheers

Sorry Tim, no paphs ready for division - i could only get divisions. I plan on going back - i want to try and get that spicerianum type. that really made my knickers tremble.
Thats actually my uncle holding the wasselii. http://public.fotki.com/wogga/smithsonian/p1010818.html
I'm on the right, the digbyana is center stage, and my uncle is on the left (im working on getting him to join the forum)
The believed philippinense is actually a prince edward of york! its [sanderianum x rothschildianum] x sanderianum. for some reason the rothie petal structure held strong through the mix, even though its only 1/4 of the dna. go figure!

I'm in the glasses. The bird [celia] is the personal pet of Tom, the director, and benefactor of my wonderful trip. Much thanks goes to him for an absolutely stupendous day.

Hi Colin, if it's a PEOY (Prince Edward of York), then it's sand x roths, and the roths is 50%. If it's PEOY x sand, then it's a Paph. Shin-Yi Prince (with only 1/4 roths.)

well if it's a PEOY, then I'm glad I spent half a pay packet on one last weekend!!! (ok so maybe slightly exaggerated)
But that seriously is something awesome!!!
How cool would it be though to figure out what that spicerianum hybrid is... it's got great colour on the petals and wicked dorsal shape... pity the Paphs don't really grow that fast... but sounds like u need to keep scoping out the place just in case it just somehow grows heaps of new leads one day... maybe suggest heaps of worm juice as a fert

I've been invited to come back again when other things are blooming, so i will work on it. I'm waiting on a response from Tom about what the two paphs are - when i get a definitive answer, ill do a new paph id thread. Let's hold off on the BigTimer guessing, and keep it to PM's when i find out and set up the ID thread. Sound groovy to everyone else?
