Would love to go but alas don't think I have enough bus fare to get there... let alone the airfare...

I'll be attending with my uncle, so hopefully our strength in numbers will keep me from getting 'jumped in' hehe. ill try to take pictures of anything of particular note.

He's actually been a member for a while now, so ILL be accompanying HIM.

Good news though - i won at poker tonight, so i might buy me a nice new orchid if theres anything good at the show

Talking Great meeting
had a very knowledgeable and entertaining guest speaker from a big greenhouse down south giving a great slide presentation and stories/history. lots of very pretty plants for judging as well, and i've got 55 pictures

also, of course - i HAD to break down when i saw cheap psychopsis mendenhall's IN SPIKE and an interesting epidendrum and encyclia. very entertaining and informative meeting.

Nice pictures... your Mendenhall should bloom pretty soon. They are great. My Kahili is blooming again and the versteegianum whose spike I broke has branched in should have a bud soon. Psy's are great plants.

Nice pics Colin.... I like the latourea dends very much... considering I use to think they are rather ugleee! SO this is a real turn around for me!

Of course, third page is what won me over!!! Is that a Phrag Sedenii? And the two Paphs... oooh Paph liemianum... hmm... lots of pink... errr.... well that's ok, I'm in touch with my fenimine side...

anyways, rambling... great to hear it was a great experience!
