ok so I wasn't one...

But how interesting that in my orchid society's winter show we had both Champion and Reserve Champion from the same genus!

Champion - Paph Aragon 'Katherine' HCC/AOC-QOS



and Reserve Champion - Paph insigne



I'm still a bit suss on whether this is a pure insigne.. the petals with their line in the middle looks too much like it has some villosum in it..

but hey, maybe I'm just cut because my one and only plant open at the time didn't win...
