Please pick your first choice for hotel rooms... 'I don't care' means you'll take Motel 6 or the JW Spa....

Hey - you really should add another option:
0$ - I wish to sleep on Diane's floor.

Actually, I started a new sport today, it's called nekkid orchid sprinting.
I was tooling away on book edits this morning and never got around to taking my morning shower. It was about lunch time and I had a couple of quick errands to run, so I figured: shower, do errands, come back and have lunch. I dumped my jeans on my bed and then went into the bathroom. As I did, the doorbell rang. I thought, I'll just run back and get my pants on and then I'll answer the door. Well, to do that I have to dash right past the front door. The plan would have worked, but Carol my mail person is very well trained, and she knows the front door is always unlocked. She'd never leave an orchid shipment on my front porch - particularly in the winter...
...so, she opens the door before I'm out of sight, and sets a gigantic box in the hallway. I'm shouting "thank you" from the security of my bedroom, post mooning.
I would have felt more embarassed, but hey - I had a mystery orchid to unpack!
I was sick right after Christmas. It was brief, but very scary, I'm fine now! and Tim-O our dear PoP down in Ozziestralia was quite worried when I told him about it. He sent me a BS division of:
Lc. Mem. Robert Strait "Blue Hawaii" JC/AOS to cheer me up! It's a princely gift, Tim-O, and very appreciated. It wasn't necessary, but I'LL TAKE IT!
Thanks very much! Next time though, I think I'll leave my clothes on for orchid deliveries.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Yeah, Tami, I'm sure she did. Cause when you see my butt, your very first instinct it to share it with all your friends!
Oh dear...I just had a dreadful thought. I think I'll be watching YouTube closely...
