oh and what is that plant with the white flowers? Calanthe? Just beautiful!

Very nice -- I'd bet you were wishing all those other people would leave so you could have the place to yourself! Orchids aren't really a sporting arena / mob pursuit. The photos are lovely, however. Thank you.
