We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Those are great, great photos- thank you so much for sharing them with us!! I really respect people that bring their orchids to show...its a great deal of work to transplant all those plants so they don't get too stressed out!!! I LOVE the minicatt that you purchased- what is the name of it? I've been dying for something red...

Hey Bruce, if ya feel daring or confident & want to try the cyps, pm me & I'll try to dig up the guy's contact info.
The catt is actually not red .... it's orange. It was because of that that I did not pick up an Iwanagara. For those still interested, the name is Blc Lily Marie Almas. you can pm me if ya'd like the venders' contact info.

Wow, great pics. Love the minicatt - it's vibrant!
I thought the Calypso bulbosa looked familiar. It's listed in the Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Wildflowers Eastern Region. Range is listed as across Canada; south to New England and northern New York; west to Michigan and Minnesota. Bloom time May - July. Wouldn't it be so awesome to see this growing in the wild??!!!!
Thanks for sharing the orchid show with us.
