That is a shame, and the Milt. is only a few years old, so I suspect it will get a tad taller. As I mentioned to BD"s reply, this Drac. is actually quite intermediate growing and I have had no problems with it considering the ridiculous heat we had this summer!!! and we are now into the fall and no sign of heat abating. Maybe I just got lucky with this one...
Hope you may give them another try, and as far as the Milts you have tried, I too failed with the hybrids from the store, but the species seem to do well for me!! go figure...
    Cheers

Lovely blooms. BD if you really want to try it why not put it inside with the ac if you have it. And use a humidifier, that should do the trick.

LOL. My home has fairly small windows and two large cats who eat everything green. lol. The drac would have better luck under a bench on the cool end of the greenhouse.

Thank you for the lovely feedback everyone, and as far as temperatures go JUDIUK... I envy you! I would have a glasshouse filled with nothing but Dracs and Masd and all those little treasures from PNG....
Most can tolerate temperatures down to almost freezing if kept slightly drier and perhaps a little further away from the window sills. The Drac cordobae I have posted a photo of though is a more intermediate/cool grower but why not try the king of Dracs...vampira.
Again thank you everyone, more photos coming soon as the glasshouse is steadily still producing blooms.
    Cheers
