Maxillaria tenuifolia
This plant was new to me a year ago in February. It bloomed last summer-one flower, right in the middle of my move. One bud open now with at least four more on the way

Hey, congrats! Looking forward to seeing yours in full bloom. Now I have to go peek at mine to see if it's in the blooming mood. I had one flower last summer too.

Congrats!
Mine never did open up as much as yours -- mine stayed rather 'cuppy' Bit of a bummer that. The flowers do seem to last a fairly long time.

Yeah, that one is more open than the few I've seen. A little brighter too. Very lovely!

It sure does! Funny, I don't really like to eat coconut, but this sure smells great!

Good growing! One of my favourites and the scent is, of course, just gorgeous! Hope mine flowers too.

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .
