Tami - thanks again for the info... Wonderful shots. I have a real passion for native plants - I'm trying to convert my gardens to native gardens (at least the majority of the plants). I hope to start with some of these (pegonias and calopogons) in the bog area of my pond and then eventually get some terrestrials (yellow, kentucky, and showy slippers are on my hit list). I believe that the cranefly orchid loses it leaves before it blooms, though I could be wrong, that might be another native species.
