I have a hybrid of this. Bruce, yours looks a bit desicated -- do you give yours a dry winter rest?
Must be a shy bloomer, pretty none the less.
I just got one of these, although I think now it is in the Dendrobium group. Could you give me some tips on how to care for it? Does it need a winter rest? It's overgrown it's current mount and will soon be attached to a larger piece of wood.
Not much of a winter rest, Connie. We cut back water on all of our orchids over the winter, but it still gets water and food. When it starts spiking, you need to increase the amount of light it gets. It is a fairly easy orchid that likes being on a mount. Good luck with yours!
