We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

NICE!!! Looks very similar to this one but mine is lighter and pinker. It appears that lobbii is very variable or there are very many closely related species.

yes and no...I don't know how a "normal" Bulbo grow...Not to be sarcastic Jenny...Now that I have over 160 Bulbo species, I no longer have the concept of warm, shade and moist. I have some in light that I can bloom Brassavolas in and others in light that I can't grow a Paph in. Some like to dry between waterings and others don't. I even have one that is deciduous.
I grow lobbii on the bright side with some full sun during part of the day, I have one mounted on a cork slab so it dries between watering but it does get good humidity. It does like it warm but I grow it intermediate.

LOL....thanks Ron! Sarcasm warented here! Clearly I am a bulbo neophyte...I just have B. echinolabium and would sure love to have a couple dozen more, but think I will have to wait for a greenhouse to grow them in here in DRY Colorado.
