Default Mini Orchid - ID please!

    Hi again

early last year I was given a non-blooming orchid tied to a xaxim board. I dutifully put it in a corner of my greenhouse and promptly forget about it.

Now it's in bloom - and how! Three long inflorescences heavy with tiny golden-orange flowers.

    Anybody know what this is?

    Thanks very much in advance!

    TT

    Hi,
    Beautiful flowers...
But to me it looks more like CLEISOSTOMA RACEMIFERUM

I am not sure about it, as I am not an expert. But I have a few Cleisostoma plants and have read about it quite a lot lately.

    Ciao!

Definitely screaming "Hey, don't forget about me!" Good luck with the identification. It is wonderful!

    Kfir,
In my book "Flora's Orchids" there is a picture of Cleisostoma Racemiferum with yellowish lip.

I'm just saying what I think it could be...
Just trying to help to find out what species it could be...

hmm, I think you are onto something Stefanie...

I also think Cleisostoma... maybe javanicum or paniculatum

good luck with getting the right id... at least the good thing is that it is most likely a species that can be identified.
